It was so much fun to play in the snow today at recess!!!

We did a practice test for science in small groups.

The children received their pen pal letters today and began writing back!

Our mentors came in at the end of the day to help us read too!

We played panic for phonics to write and prove words.

We did more coin practice and had a worksheet.

We had the lowercase h today.  Hooray for today's all stars; Kelsey and Jacob!

We finished writing our pen pal letters today.  Tomorrow we will address them and send them out!

Wednesday:

We started with 6th graders from Mrs. Piasecki's class teaching about being kind in our words, actions and attitudes.

For math, we all worked together to count the coins we brought in for Hearts for Jesus.  With last weeks money and this weeks we brought in $98!

We practiced cause and effect as our reading concept today.  We used Goose's Story to fill in our cause and effect chart together.

We addressed our pen pal letters and put them in the mail!

We watched a short video about Groundhog's Day.

We learned something new as our WE LEARN theme this week.  We learned how to play 4 corners in the classroom.  They really enjoyed playing it.
